Forum Rules and Etiquette

We ask you to keep the conversation civil, and in good taste. Please refrain from using vulgar language, personal attacks, racial, ethnic, or sexual innuendos.

You are free to disagree with others, but if you stoop to personal abuse or attacks, your post(s) will be deleted/edited. If you are insulted by a post, please report the post using the 'report the post to moderator/administrator' function.

Advertising or promoting any product or service on any of our boards is prohibited, unless you have permission or are posting in website promotions.

Members who are granted special forum benefits are welcome to it but must not remove themselves as they will not be re-added to their originated group.


Illegal suggestions/material - Respect the copyrights of other people, websites, software and printed media. Please no pointers, how-to's, advocating any illegal activity.

Questionable content - Some content issues are left to the discretion of the individual moderators, but may include any material that is knowingly false and/or defamatory, misleading, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, that otherwise violates any law, or that encourages conduct constituting a criminal offense.

Personal Info - Do not post personal information such as email addresses or telephone numbers.

Impersonating/accessing another user's account - You may not impersonate another board member or create an account specifically for the purpose of provoking other users. Also, accessing or using someone else's account or attempting to access another poster's account is strictly prohibited. This will not be tolerated and you will be banned.

Post in the appropriate forum - Please read each forum description before posting to ensure you are posting in the correct forum. Off topic posts will be moved to the correct forum.

No duplicate or repeat posts - If no-one answers your question or responds to your post. Posting the same question over and over or in every forum will just annoy people and will not get answers.

Profanity - Keep offensive language to a minimum. While we might let you get away with anything you might hear on network television or radio, don't go overboard.

Obscene material - No posting of pornographic material or links to it.

Flaming, Bashing, and Trolling - Hate posts and personal attacks will not be tolerated on the Forums, as is posting topics specifically to provoke a negative response from someone (AKA trolling).

Spam - Purposely spamming a message board with senseless, vacuous, or empty messages is highly frowned upon, unless posting in EE forum where spam is allowed .

Links to other websites - Links are not allowed in threads unless it is relevant to a specific topic. Personal links to your website or websites you are affiliated with are NOT allowed. We have a web promotion section in this forum which you can post links in.

Signatures - No posting of pornographic material or links. No links allowed in signatures including images that are clickable links.
Links that promote our chat rooms or forum are allowed.
Sites being promoted can only be done so in the Website Promotion forum. Those continually breaking the rules will be banned for 7 days. Repeat offenders will be banned permanently.

Moderator Requests - Do not post any requests to become a chat or forum moderator. Please PM or email the appropriate chat or forum admins.

Fast-Chat reserves the right to amend/alter/remove/add any current and existing rule's and/or requirements.

Flashing screens are not, under no circumstances, to be used in signatures or posts. This can be dangerous to some users with Photo Sensitive Epilepsy and can cause serious harm.

User Accounts - You can make as many accounts here as you like. Please note if one account is banned it is strictly prohibited to use another account that you can access, members found violating this rule will be banned by e-mail address and IP Address. Once registered you cannot delete your account, if you no longer wish to use our community then ask for your account to be banned or just do not log in again, we hope that none of our user's would choose to do this.

Failure to comply with the above rules repeatedly will result in the immediate infraction of that individual user.

We are not responsible for any false information or inappropriate comments and we do not vouch for the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message. The messages express the views of the author of the message and that author alone, not necessarily the views of our community or anyone else associated with us. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact an administrator or moderator immediately by email or private message or by reporting the post. We have the ability to remove questionable or inappropriate messages and we reserve the right to delete any message for any reason whatsoever with justification. If we determine that removal of a message is necessary, we will make every effort to remove that message as soon as possible. However, please realize that we may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately.

Visitor Messages - Please ensure all visitor messages are clean and in good taste any messages violating site rules will be removed.

The Most Important Rule of All is to have fun!

**The Hidden Feautre** - Moderators can see when people who are using the hidden feature. Note: this is a bannable offence. Members found doing this will be banned for a period of 14 days.

Should you ever feel the need, for whatever reason that you do not wish to participate in our community you cannot request your account be deleted. We hope none of you feel the need for this. 

However what we will do is either ban your account permanently and remove all information associated with it.
